"Марсіанські хроніки" book review
Ray Bradbury "Марсіанські хроніки" book review Love: 1. Tale-like impression of Mars habitat. Striking made-ups, demure landscape, inquisitive architecture and misleading serenity. 2. Constant genre mix & fuse. Opening with fantasy romance genre, it transforms into psychological thriller. Some time later, it resembles dark fantasy with a pinch of horror. Eventually, what's left is post-apocalyptic fantasy, wielded by ethical questions. 3. Martians. Restless feeling that I don't know the whole picture. Hence, the plot is unpredictable, twichy, intriguing and interesting. 4. Earth I appreciate, the author described societal values and current movement to the stars of the USA residents, their prejudices and fears. 5. Subtle references to Ray Bradbury's books. Hate: 1. A lot of names and characters that are only mentioned once , but scarcely ever remembered again. 2. There are a few moments, where I can distinguish seared and smothered feeling of hatred and melancholy, moldering on his pages. Luckily, it dissipates by hope afterwards, but not entirely. 3. I didn't like the ending of the story. In conclusion, I recommend "Марсіанські хроніки" by Ray Bradbury, because it amazes.

1Легкий когнітивний дисонанс Якщо читали англійською - чому обкладинка українська? Якщо читали українською - кому ці англомовні враження? Моя повага, якщо це все написано самостійно і без допомоги перекладача. Але виглядає трішки "по-позерськи" (особисто мені) *окрема дяка за відгук. Люблю, коли люди описують саме власні враження від книги (відредаговано)
