Meeting a fiend on the street: what do you do?

Let's say it's 2am and you're going home from work. You walk through the street, and as it happens no one else is around. We can't have a horror setting without the solitude lol. You look across the street and there's something standing in the shadow, looking back at you. You can recognise the silhouette - it's the monster you always thought imaginary. Maybe it's the rake, maybe the shy guy, maybe it's that unkillable abberant from silent hill, whatever you thought of first when reading this. What do you do next? (已编辑)
