Do other Infps feel they attract people looking for validation?

I am not trying to box anyone in or look for a specific answer but I find people looking for validation, therapy and control seem to seek me out. I personally don't value these traits in others but they value mine. I think they see me as a safe space or someone they can project onto. Setting boundries and saying no to these types is usually not taken well. I tend to appreciate intelligent, caring, open minded people but they feel rare. What do you guys think?
