Pat Woodell Bio
Pat Woodell was a talented American actress and singer best known for her role in the television series Petticoat Junction. She was born on July 12, 1944, in Winthrop, Massachusetts, in the United States. Woodell attended acting school as a child before moving to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She was a skilled performer who excelled in both music and acting, displaying a charming on-screen presence that captivated audiences.
Woodell's big break came in the early 1960s when she was cast as Bobbie Jo Bradley in the popular CBS sitcom Petticoat Junction. The show, which followed the lives of the Bradley family and their hotel in rural Hooterville, proved to be a hit with audiences, and Woodell became a household name. She starred in the show for two seasons before leaving to pursue other endeavors.
Outside of Petticoat Junction, Woodell also appeared in several films, including The Cool Ones (1967) and The Big Doll House (1971). She was a talented singer as well and released a number of singles throughout the 1960s. Her music career reached its peak in 1968 with the release of "Good, Good Lovin'," which became a hit in several states.
Sadly, Woodell's acting career was cut short in the early 1970s when she retired from the industry to focus on her family. She passed away on September 29, 2015, at the age of 71.
