Rob Garrison was an American actor best known for his role as Tommy in the iconic 1984 movie, "The Karate Kid." He was born on January 23, 1960, in Wheeling, West Virginia, in the United States of America. Garrison was raised in a Catholic family and attended high school in his hometown before moving to New York City to pursue an acting career.

In 1977, Garrison made his on-screen debut in the TV series "Baretta." He had small roles in several other TV shows and movies before landing the role of Tommy in "The Karate Kid." Tommy was one of the students of John Kreese's Cobra Kai dojo, and his famous line "Get him a body bag" has become a popular catchphrase among fans of the movie. Garrison reprised his role as Tommy in the movie's sequel, "The Karate Kid Part II."

Aside from his work in the entertainment industry, Garrison struggled with alcoholism and addiction throughout his life. He spoke openly about his struggles and worked to help others facing similar challenges. In 2019, he appeared on the YouTube series "Cobra Kai" as a guest star, reprising his role as Tommy. Sadly, Garrison passed away on September 27, 2019, at the age of 59, due to kidney and liver failure. Fans and fellow actors mourned his loss and paid tribute to him on social media.

Reserved and calm, 5w6s are perfect companions for turbulent extroverts. Leave them in the eye of the storm and see how quick and resilient they are in tactical survival schemes. They solve problems with as much enthusiasm as if cracking a code or figuring out a jigsaw puzzle. Although considerably extroverted with the Type 6 influence, Enneagram 5w6s may be a bit socially aloof. They prefer to be alone instead of having a blast with a big crowd.

What Zodiac type is Rob Garrison?

Rob Garrison, born on January 23, is an Aquarius according to his zodiac sign. Aquarius individuals are known for their independent and unconventional nature, which is reflected in Garrison's life choices. He has portrayed several unique and eccentric characters in his acting career, such as Tommy in The Karate Kid and its sequel, and his individuality has shone through in these roles.

Aquarians also have a strong sense of justice and are typically fiercely loyal to their friends and loved ones. This is exemplified in Garrison's portrayal of Tommy as a loyal supporter and friend to Daniel LaRusso throughout the series.

However, Aquarians can also be somewhat detached and aloof, which may have been reflected in some of Garrison's more reserved performances. Additionally, they may struggle with expressing their emotions or connecting with others on a deeper level, something which some of Garrison's portrayals may have unintentionally suggested.

Overall, while astrology can only provide limited insights into a person's personality, Garrison's Aquarius zodiac sign appears to have influenced his independent, unconventional, and sometimes aloof nature. However, his strong sense of justice and loyalty to those close to him also suggest a more complex personality.
