Jerod Haase is an accomplished American basketball coach and former player. Born on April 1, 1974, in South Lake Tahoe, California, Haase's passion for basketball began at a young age. He played high school basketball for South Tahoe High School, where he showcased his exceptional skills and talent on the court. Haase's impressive performance earned him a scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley, where he continued to excel in basketball.
At the University of California, Haase played as a point guard for the Golden Bears. Throughout his college career, he amassed numerous accolades and achievements, such as being named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team and earning All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention honors in his senior year. Haase's skills caught the attention of NBA scouts, and he was selected by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 1997 NBA Draft.
Although Haase didn't have a prominent NBA career, he made his mark in professional basketball by playing overseas. From 1999 to 2005, Haase played for various teams in Europe, including clubs in Belgium, Germany, and France.
