Growing up in a basketball-centric household, he quickly developed a passion for the sport and worked tirelessly to hone his skills.
Gibbs attended Saint Anthony High School in Jersey City, where he became a standout player. Known for his exceptional shooting ability, he helped lead the team to multiple state championships. As a senior, Gibbs averaged an impressive 17 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds per game, earning him recognition as one of the top high school basketball players in the country.
