"I've always said that I'm not an angel, but I'm not a devil either. I'm just Pascual Pérez."
Pascual Pérez
Pascual Pérez Bio
Pascual Pérez was not an American celebrity but a renowned Dominican professional boxer who made a name for himself in the world of boxing in the 1980s. Born on May 17, 1955, in Consuelo, Dominican Republic, Pérez is considered one of the most successful boxers to hail from the Caribbean nation. His rise to fame came as a result of his remarkable boxing skills and his unique style in the ring, earning him the nickname "Pepín" or "El Principito" (The Little Prince). Pérez started his boxing career as a flyweight and quickly gained recognition for his exceptional footwork, agility, and ability to dodge punches. His technical expertise combined with his relentless work ethic propelled him to become a dominant force in the ring. Pérez won his first professional title, the Dominican Republic Flyweight Championship, in 1976, igniting a string of victories that would cement his legacy in boxing history. In 1980, Pérez challenged the legendary Japanese boxer Shoji Oguma for the WBA flyweight title. The bout took place in Puerto Rico, where Pérez showcased his exceptional skills, ultimately defeating Oguma and capturing the WBA title. This victory not only established him as one of the best flyweight boxers of his time but also made him the first Dominican to hold a world title in professional boxing. Pérez successfully defended his title on three occasions before moving up to the bantamweight division. Sadly, Pérez's boxing career was also marred by personal struggles and tragic events. After losing his title in 1982, he faced numerous setbacks, including drug addiction and legal troubles. In 2012, Pérez was found dead in his home, a victim of a robbery. Despite his untimely passing, Pascual Pérez's contributions to boxing as a Dominican sports icon and his achievements in the ring continue to be remembered and celebrated to this day.
Which Enneagram Type is Pascual Pérez?
Pascual Pérez is an Enneagram Four personality type with a Five wing or 4w5. They are more introverted than the other 2-influenced types who also enjoy being alone. They have unique artistic interests that draw them towards avant-garde and eccentric arts as they represent deviance from what most people see on usually overrated mainstream platforms. However, their fifth wing may drive them to make a grand gesture to stand out among the crowd, or else they may feel unappreciated at all.
