Randy Knorr is a former professional baseball player and coach from the United States. Born on November 12, 1968, in San Gabriel, California, Knorr had a successful career in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a catcher. However, he is perhaps best known for his contributions as a coach in the MLB and his involvement in various baseball-related activities.

Knorr's professional baseball career began when he was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the tenth round of the 1986 MLB Draft. He spent the majority of his playing career in the minor leagues before making his MLB debut with the Blue Jays in 1991. Over the next decade, Knorr played for several MLB teams, including the Houston Astros, Florida Marlins, and Montreal Expos. He appeared in a total of 253 games as a catcher, displaying solid defensive skills and occasionally contributing offensively.

After retiring as a player in 2004, Knorr transitioned into coaching roles. He first joined the Washington Nationals organization as the manager of their Gulf Coast League team in 2005. Knorr then worked his way up through the Nationals' minor league system, serving as a coach and manager at various levels. In 2011, he was promoted to be the Nationals' bench coach, working closely with the team's manager, Davey Johnson.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Knorr has also served as a coach for Team USA in international competitions. Notably, he was the third base coach for Team USA during the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Knorr's passion for the game and his extensive knowledge and experience both as a player and a coach have made him a respected figure in the baseball community.
