One of his most notable achievements came in the 1967-68 season when he helped lead the Black Hawks to win the Stanley Cup, contributing with 10 goals and 8 assists during the playoffs.
After spending several successful seasons with the Black Hawks, Pappin went on to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the California Golden Seals, and the Cleveland Barons before concluding his professional career in the World Hockey Association (WHA).
