Vic Lynn, born Victor William Lynn on February 7, 1925, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, was a prominent figure in the world of ice hockey. Lynn's contributions to the sport as a player, coach, and executive in the National Hockey League (NHL) earned him a place of recognition and respect among hockey enthusiasts in Canada and beyond.
Lynn began his professional hockey career in the late 1940s when he joined the Boston Bruins of the NHL. As a forward, he quickly established himself as a skilled player known for his scoring abilities and physical presence on the ice.
