On This Day in History - April 29, 1945

April 29, 1945 #OTD World War II: AH's dog Blondi (Pictured) died as a result of a test verifying the potency of the cyanide capsules AH had in his possession. The capsules had been given to him by Heinrich H and, having lost trust in him after the revelation of his attempted negotiations with the Allies behind AH's back, wanted to confirm that the capsules were truly fatal, Blondi was 3-4 years old. Posted for Historical and Educational purposes only and is a nonpolitical post.
