5 Valuable Lessons We Can All Learn from Barbie, The Movie ✨🌸

1. It's unhealthy, mentally and physically, to constantly abide by the pressures to strive to be perfect. To be extraordinary. To be beautiful and physically flawless. You name it. The reality is, we all have bad days. Sometimes it's tough and we're just trying to get through another day. We're not always thinking positively 100% of the time. That's completely fine. We're human. Embrace that. Both the positive and "negative" aspects we experience make us who we are. So...why beat yourself about it? You deserve to be happy even if you're imperfect. ❤️ 2. You are "ken-ough": You are your person. 💭 It's unhealthy to validate yourself by attaching your self-worth to other people. When you realize you love yourself as you are, it's a liberating experience. Ken attached his self-worth to Barbie and only felt like he was someone when Barbie validated him. Talk about an unhealthy relationship. 😅 Ken realized a very simple but transformative lesson from Barbie. Ken is Ken. Ken ain't Barbie. 3. Be open to change & new perspectives: Sticking to what you've always done just because it's more comfortable, knowing there's a better world out there for you, isn't going to get you anywhere. You can encounter worthwhile experiences and people that better align with who you are and what you love by transcending your comfort zone. Like, imagine if Barbie chose to stick to Barbieland and never ventured into the Real World. She would've lived an endless loop, day-in, and day-out. 4. We can't always be people pleasers. Like the relatable mom speech in the movie, there are way too many contradicting opinions of how women should behave. You do you. The right people will vibe. ✨ 5. It's amazing what can happen when a group of empowered humans get together and support each other toward a common goal. 🙌
