It's kinda ironic this topic. Seems to becoming a bit men Vs woman. On a dating app where they want to meet and connect with each other. To Men: woman are asking that you include more details so they can Sus out if they are interested. They get 20-100 "Hi's" in their inbox, they dont want to start a conversation with each one and then explain if they have no info therefore are not interested, its emotional labour, they are asking you to stand out. ( How long do you think it would take to politely go through each message hear them out and then politely explain not what I'm looking for ) Woman: when men say hi they want to initiate a conversation as they don't know what you would like to know about them, so they start with hi. They likely are unaware of what your inbox looks like, but are trying to just have a conversation to see if there is mutual interest. Honestly I blame the app(s) 😅 They should make the first message a 200 character minimum. So men have to do more emotional labour to contact them. This way guys don't feel like the send out a ocean of messages. With no replies. And woman have like 5 messages in their inbox with some effort and description in them. Better for everyone yeah?

This is the definition of a red flag. Thank you for showing it. Very courageous of you. 1) You don't even give a person a chance to speak to you. 2) You are inconsiderate, what if they needed a friend? There's a lot of lonely people on this app... How many have you destroyed? You wouldn't know, you probably wouldn't care. Words are more powerful than you might think. 3) A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet, but it's also a gamble if they'll be a good friend. Luckily this is online and you can block a person if they're a red flag. I hope some self-reflection would be done. If not, I hope unfortunate people would stay away from you.
