My assumption about men is that they will only treat people who they find attractive nicely.

Hence, if ladies treat them nicely, they'll assume its flirting attempt.

Very much depends, and depends on the culture.

In here the men initially think I'm "ducking with them", women are thrown off-guard as they can't tell if I'm sincere or not.

Thankfully the company I work with, my team has learned to appreciate it for what it is: Sincere gratitude for working with them where there's times when I help them, they help me.
- In trainings that I've hosted sincerity though shines, as I can throw in humour to my heart's extent.

There's been though moments I have had to clarify that I am being sincere, not flirty to both men and women, as to quite my old colleague:

"Being nice doesn't cost a thing and there's enough of negativity in this world to go around as it is."

When on work trips to the States, it's... Very dependent how it's taken, I've seen. In more rural areas it's taken more as it is: Sincerity.

Well.. it depends on someone.. coz in most situations, we take it differently.. maybe its better not take it personally or overthink (yeah its hard af) like whatever you know.. just say it from my experienced. but yeah its really up to you. ✌🏻
