March 5, 1941 #OTD World War II: German submarine U-95 sank Swedish ship Murjek (Pictured), which had been broadcasting its neutral status continuously, with 5 torpedoes 200 miles south of Iceland at 0525 hours. The entire crew of 31 was killed. The ship was carrying a shipment of cotton.
