After completing her studies, Sudha Kongara kickstarted her career in the film industry as an associate director. In 2010, Sudha Kongara made her directorial debut with the Tamil film "Drohi," which received positive reviews and garnered attention for its unconventional storyline. However, it was her second directorial venture, "Irudhi Suttru" (2016), that helped her cement her position as a promising director in the Indian film industry.
