The Intruder (1962) hidden gem

This is a seriously underrated movie from Roger Corman filmography. William Shatner plays a terrible, manipulative and charismatic agitator who arrives in a small Southern town with the explicit aim of inciting racial tensions and preventing the desegregation of local schools. The film is very brave as it was shoot on a Southern racist town during this era and they had to run away when the people discovered what was the movie about. Is a powerful and unsettling film that bravely confronts the racial prejudices and social injustices of its time and it's also a warning about charismatic and manipulative figures (redaguota)
