a kind woman and her teenage daughter came to our cafe, and after they ate they wanted to tip but IDK WHY i refused it. The embarrassing part is that i was like, looking like a threat bcz i kept repeating “No ill come back with your change!!!!” omfgggg i cant imagine what they were thinking WHYWHWYWHWYW i hope i never see them again for their sake.

Apkaunojošā daļa ir tā, ka es izskatījos kā drauds, jo es nepārtraukti atkārtoju “Nē, es atgriezīšos ar jūsu maiņu!!!!” omfgggg es nevaru iedomāties, ko viņas domāja KĀPĒC KĀPĒC KĀPĒC es ceru, ka nekad viņas vairs neredzēšu viņu labad.

After five years of working in that pit, the toxicity of assuming I had friendships, how did I?

My last straw that broke me mentality was when I realized my friend Shelly for years, turned out to be the one causing all my drama at work.

Way before I ended up pregnant with the same person that my old boss literally placed on a pillow, Catherine. Now, Catherine and I did end up pregnant at the same time and I was excited to share the experience.

Until I realized Catherine was throwing me under the bus with our mutual friend Kris. Kris was young, and I thought she was kind. She showed me her true colors when I rounded the corner to find her, Catherine, Shelly and our boss Shasta talking about me. I still cant get that smirk out of my head, it was cat like...and I was their mouse. 

Shasta, she broke my heart the moment she pulled me into the office before her promotion. She started demanding I owned up talking to HR about our old boss, Clint. I kept denying it only to find out thst Shelly used me as a escape goat. 

Shasta now the manager, and Shelly the assistant. Didn't know I would be treated with lack of care. They were never my friends neither, along with Lela, and Abe. 

Abe really shocked me, I honestly thought he would have cared. He didn't, he actually joined in with them and even as a school counselor for a elementary school. I felt safe around him, and I would tell him things only to discover he told Shasta and Shelly everything. I should've known he wasn't nice wheb he stole cash rewards from our customers and handed them out to Lela and Kris. 

Who would believe me? Even if I went to HR, no one from that store would have stood up for me. Even when I thought Lela was my friend. When he would comfort me when Shasta or Catherine was mean to me. She would text Shelly while at work when Shelly was off about updates about me. I guess being paid under the table to watch Shelly's son got you in the pharmacy.

The same position I was working towards but Shasta told me I was too far along in my pregnancy to take the courses. The same pregnancy that was constantly compared to Catherine when she is 10 years younger than me. 

I struggled to get pregnant and these people that I thought cared about me nearly caused me to lose him when I was sent to the ER for being dehydrated for run ing back and forth in the summer front counter and photo. Only to know that Kris and Abe was just sitting in the stockroom talking.

Matt was my only true friend, he was ran out by Shasta due to being trans. Abe would even, as someone from the  rainbow club, join in.  Not surprised, I always felt that he wasnt one of the good soul; even though his a Sunday school teacher as well on top of being a school counselor. No, Matt was and still is good. I remember when HR was called, Shasta called my cellphone demanding I tell her who called HR. I was so scared, Matt never held it against me for not speaking my truth. I was going through the worse PPD, and Matt held me as I cried. 


How did I survive? 

I held onto that hug from Matt, even when he had to leave. Matt was my only true friend from that store. I may have had to be in the pit for years , but Matt showed me even when you are down, you don't stop.

I did, I held on tight for not only myself but for my son. My son needed me to work because we lost our benefits despite my husband losing his job. The weight came off not because of my workout plan I told my ex coworkers, but I starved.

Our foodstamps have been taken along with my son's wic and insurance. I made aure my husband and son ate while I struggled to pay my own bills. Work was cutting back on my hours due to my spinal injury from giving birth. 

(Don't get me started on the bullying and harassment Shasta and that whole team put me through over my stool. Which, it was rainbowed colored)

The way those women gossip behind my back, but I kept going. Despite the looks, the whispers, and the fake smiles. Even when I was pulled in the office with my two very "best friends" from the start  Shasta and Shelly and threw a "Mental Health" packet and in a professional way 

'We are going to fire you'

News flash, thank you Matt for helping me get enrolled into the free therapy 🥰😘

They were shocked to find out that I was already 6 weeks into my therapy. Soon, Shelly world came all crasijg down, the lies she built on me tumbled, out the door she went leaving me with Shasta and  Catherine .

Yet, I already had my foot out the door and into another job before the holidays. Your scape goat and working mule is OUT OF HERE

How did I survive?

Pēc piecu gadu darba tajā bedrē, pieņēmums, ka man ir draugi, kā es izdzīvoju?

Manas pēdējās izmisuma stīgas pārtrūka, kad es sapratu, ka mana draudzene Šelli gadiem ilgi bija tā, kas radīja visu manu drāmu darbā.

Pirms tam es paliku stāvoklī ar to pašu cilvēku, kuru mans vecais priekšnieks burtiski nolika uz spilvena, Ketrīnu. Tagad, Ketrīna un es palikām stāvoklī vienlaikus, un es biju sajūsmā dalīties pieredzē.

Līdz es sapratu, ka Ketrīna mani izmeta zem autobusa ar mūsu kopīgo draudzeni Krisu. Kris bija jauna, un es domāju, ka viņa ir laipna. Viņa parādīja savu patieso dabu, kad es pagriezos stūrī un atradu viņu, Ketrīnu, Šelli un mūsu priekšnieci Šastu runājam par mani. Es joprojām nevaru izdzēst to smaidu no savas galvas, tas bija kaķīgs... un es biju viņu pele.

Šasta, viņa man salauza sirdi brīdī, kad ievelk mani birojā pirms viņas paaugstināšanas. Viņa sāka pieprasīt, lai es atzīstu, ka runāju ar HR par mūsu veco priekšnieku Klintu. Es turpināju to noliegt, tikai lai uzzinātu, ka Šelli izmantoja mani kā upuri.

Šasta tagad ir menedžere, un Šelli ir asistente. Nezināju, ka mani izturēs ar neuzmanību. Viņas nekad nebija mani draugi, līdzīgi kā Lela un Abe.

Abe mani patiešām šokēja, es patiesi domāju, ka viņam rūp. Viņam nerūpēja, viņš pat pievienojās viņām un pat kā skolas konsultants pamatskolā. Es jutos droši ap viņu, un es viņam stāstīju lietas, tikai lai atklātu, ka viņš visu pastāstīja Šastai un Šelli. Man vajadzēja zināt, ka viņš nebija jauks, kad viņš nozaga naudas balvas no mūsu klientiem un izsniedza tās Lelai un Krisai.

Kas man ticētu? Pat ja es dotos uz HR, neviens no šīs veikala neuzstātos man par labu. Pat kad es domāju, ka Lela ir mana draudzene. Kad viņš mani mierināja, kad Šasta vai Ketrīna bija pret mani. Viņa sūtīja ziņas Šelli, kamēr bija darbā, kad Šelli nebija, par jaunumiem par mani. Es pieņemu, ka saņemot naudu "zem galda", lai pieskatītu Šelli dēlu, tu iekļūsti aptiekā.

Tajā pašā pozīcijā, uz kuru es strādāju, bet Šasta man teica, ka esmu pārāk tālu savā grūtniecībā, lai apgūtu kursus. Tajā pašā grūtniecībā, kas pastāvīgi tika salīdzināta ar Ketrīnu, kad viņa ir par 10 gadiem jaunāka par mani.

Es cīnījos, lai paliktu stāvoklī, un šie cilvēki, kurus es domāju, ka rūpējas par mani, gandrīz izraisīja, ka es viņu zaudēju, kad mani nosūtīja uz ER, jo biju dehidrēta, skrienot atpakaļ un uz priekšu vasaras priekšējā letē un fotogrāfijā. Tikai lai uzzinātu, ka Kris un Abe vienkārši sēdēja noliktavā un runāja.

Mats bija mans vienīgais patiesais draugs, viņu izdzina Šasta, jo viņš bija trans. Abe pat, kā kāds no varavīksnes kluba, pievienojās. Nav pārsteigums, es vienmēr jutos, ka viņš nebija viens no labajiem; pat ja viņš ir svētdienas skolas skolotājs un arī skolas konsultants. Nē, Mats bija un joprojām ir labs. Es atceros, kad tika izsaukta HR,
