History is written by the Victor!
The use of nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki has long been debated. Did these bombings truly end World War II, or were they meant to demonstrate U.S. dominance to the allies and the world? While it is argued that the bombings forced Japan to surrender, thereby ending the war, the morality of killing hundreds of thousands of civilians to achieve this goal remains highly contentious. Do the ends justify the means in this case, or were there other motives behind such a devastating decision? I think that if the Nazi army bombed a city with a nuclear bomb it would be considered as a war crime but it's not a war crime only because the victorious side did it! Actually, I'm this was both sides had no ethics or mercy and both sides where criminals and committed war crimes, but the history is written by the Victor!
