I watched first episode of demon slayer, the animation is great, story seem interesting, BUT why do they all look like kids? Short small bodies??? I like more realistic representation like adults looking like adults not kids, like jjk or bsd, that’s the main problem of this anime

I could understand that this anime is only for kids but there are adults (mother or old people) but they all look same short, I kinda can’t like kids, or associate myself with kids, seems like I will not watch. In picture example how it should look like (he is 22 and she is 14). But they all look like they are 14 (edytowany)

That is the style of the mangaka. If you look online, you should find some if his older works, and surprise, same character style. Having posted that, sometimes adaptations do change the character design. In this case, the manga was already popular and big changes probably could have backfired. Try hunter x hunter (edytowany)
