Denmark’s North

Funny fact: when I step out of the house and just bike straight up north, I reach the tip of Denmark, or Toppen af Danmark. It’s where two seas meet, so there’s just water, sand and sunshine. (And also crowds of people because it’s really touristy). The tip itself is called Grenen (The Branch) and the town it’s adjacent to is Skagen: historic, artsy and extremely cute in summer, a must visit according to all tourist booklets. However, the way is just as worthy as the destination: pine woods, moors, the open sea, and a peculiar old church. PS There is no need to bike 50K, the last 20K hold the main charm. (izmenjeno)
