If It’s Good For Me, Why Does it Hurt?

I spent almost a year in a new place for work and it was boring. I disliked what was around me and it feels like all I did was study and work. Now my employer wants me to move, I’m happy to oblige. I disliked my stay here, nothing to do and I couldn’t really find my circle with people that share my interest. Most of the time I just felt lost here. But, I’m happpy that I accomplished everything I wanted to get done and my work reflects that. It’s just now that I feel something new and it confuses me. My question is, why am I feeling nervous/sad about leaving when I had so much discomfort here? (مُعدّل)
