How to collect my thoughts and study like intelligent people?

Alright I'm not saying this is healthy, But I find most my college work to be a waste of my time (because I already know the curriculum) So I either try to trick myself into thinking it's important (doesn't work) Or I drink just enough to slow my thoughts done. (Which by the way is perfectly healthy and beneficial to drink in moderation). Again not recommending it but that's what works for me
