What are some of the memories you use to help with depression?

I don’t focus on the memories more than I think about the now and the future. It’s the memories that can cause the depression. Either the memory itself is bad or even remembering the good times can be depressing because you know you can never have that time again. So just focus on now and how you can be the change in the future. The key is to not stay stagnant and try to embrace the new. Take the time to find something you really love and develop it. Not only does it bring new fulfillment but it will also keep those feelings of depression at bay. I suffer from anxiety and depression and with the right combination of medication and studying improvisational comedy has made me feel like a human being again a d not just a waste of space thinking about what could have been.
