Homelessness is a societal problem requiring society to step up with government support.

Right now the expectations are other way around expecting government to step up with societal problem.

My proposal

Adopt a homeless for the night

- doesn't feel like burden for just a few as it's a shared societal burden
- no specific infrastructure required to be built
- efforts and resources are shared
- foster families / people can be provided some kind of tax incentive

An argument can be made that this doesn't solve the problem in the long-term. But that's the point. We don't want homelessness to be a long-term problem

Get the homeless person on their feet until they are able to support themselves.

Rules
- 1 homeless person
- 1 night only
- in order to qualify for the tax incentive you need to have adopted atleast for 100 nights (as an example)
