Question

The battle scenes in Le morte de Arthur is the worst trudge in any book ever written.  
"Knight so and so fell of his horse, so and so got him another; knight so and so fell of his horse, so and so got him another." It's as bad as reading the Begats for entertainment, and I think of that often. We are so critical as consumers today, but can you imagine what we would think is "Amaze-ballz" if we had less choice?

Agreed. And if I were to expound on why, I might as well do an essay about it 😄 but the book I am studying currently elaborates on this. It's a book about short studies in literature. That's also literally the name of the book lol. Lot's of chapters but they are bite-sized that gets to the point, however, the way the author delivers each message in the chapters leaves you with an abundance of insight to absorb and to reflect upon.
