During his time at MGM, he directed a total of 36 films over a period of 8 years. Some of his notable works include "The Story of Louis Pasteur" (1936), "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" (1939), and "The Human Comedy" (1943), among others. Bucquet was a filmmaker who had a unique style, and his films displayed his attention to detail and creativity. He was known for capturing emotional and dramatic scenes that often pulled at the audience's heartstrings.
