Millar would go on to write the screenplays for several other films, such as "Appointment with Venus" and "The Story on Page One."
Despite his success as a writer, Millar remained a private individual. He was married to actress Hattie Jacques, but little is known about their relationship. Millar passed away on October 18, 1998, leaving behind a legacy as one of Britain's most prolific writers for both the stage and screen.
