Rudolf Klein-Rogge was a renowned actor and director who was born on November 24, 1885, in the Czech Republic. His birthplace was in Vienna's Felberstrasse district, where his father, Josef Klein, served as a clerk. Klein-Rogge's mother, Adele Rogge, was a member of a well-known Viennese acting family. Growing up within a family of performers, it was no surprise that Rudolf developed an interest in acting at an early age. He initially trained as a mechanical engineer, but he subsequently chose to pursue acting as his career. Klein-Rogge's career in the acting industry started in 1910 when he appeared in a well-received play called Der Amoklauf. The play was staged at the Deutschen Theater in Berlin, and it garnered widespread acclaim.
