Rita Paul was born in Leipzig, Germany on April 20, 1928. She was a well-known singer, actress, and entertainer who started her career in the post-World War II era. She was known for her melodious voice, which she used to sing various genres of music, such as jazz, pop, and traditional German music. In addition to singing, she appeared in a few films and television shows over the years. Rita started singing at a young age, and by the age of 20, she was a popular performer in Germany. She received her breakthrough in 1951, when she sang the hit song "Wir wollen niemals auseinander geh'n" (We Never Want to Be Apart) with the composer and singer Günther Lüders. The song was a massive hit in Germany and established Rita as one of the country's leading singers. Over the years, she went on to record many other popular songs, and her music continued to be loved by people all over Germany. Apart from her singing career, Rita also acted in a few films, including "Bettleroper" (The Beggar's Opera) in 1957, and "Wenn süß das Mondlicht auf den Hügeln schläft" (When Sweet Moonlight Sleeps on the Hills) in 1959. She also appeared in a few television movies and shows, including the popular German show "Tatort" (Crime Scene). Her acting skills were much appreciated by the audiences, and she earned praise for her performances.
