Voglis acted in approximately 70 films during his career and has been credited with bringing a modern, realistic style to Greek cinema. Some of his most notable performances include his roles in "Rocco and His Brothers" (1960), "Evdokia" (1971) and "O Agapitikos tis voskopoulas" (1972). He also collaborated with the acclaimed Greek film director, Nikos Koundouros, on multiple occasions.
Aside from his work in film, Voglis was also a talented theatre actor and director, having founded his own theatre company in the 1950s. Among his directorial works were the Greek translations of classic plays such as "Waiting for Godot" and "A Streetcar Named Desire".
For his contributions to Greek cinema and theatre, Voglis was honoured with numerous awards and accolades, including the Best Actor award at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in 1963, the Golden Cross medal of the Order of Phoenix in 1971 and the First State Prize for Theatre in 1976.
