Harald Steen was a prominent Norwegian politician and diplomat, born on December 8, 1945, in Trondheim, Norway. He started his career in politics as a member of the Young Conservatives and went on to become a member of the Norwegian Parliament representing the Conservative Party. He served as a member of the parliament from 1973 to 1977 and then again from 1981 to 1993.
