She attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she honed her skills in film editing. Menke's talent and dedication to her craft earned her widespread recognition, particularly for her longstanding collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.

Sally Menke's most notable collaboration was with Quentin Tarantino, one of the most renowned directors of his generation. The duo began working together on Tarantino's feature directorial debut, "Reservoir Dogs" (1992), and continued their collaboration on subsequent films, including the critically acclaimed "Pulp Fiction" (1994), "Jackie Brown" (1997), "Kill Bill: Volume 1" (2003), and "Kill Bill: Volume 2" (2004). Menke's editing played a crucial role in shaping the narrative structure and pacing of these films, reinforcing Tarantino's reputation for innovative storytelling.

Throughout her career, Sally Menke received numerous accolades for her exceptional editing work.
