Ruud attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 2001 to 2004. He displayed exceptional skills, recording numerous tackles and earning accolades such as All-American honors and multiple All-Big 12 Conference selections.
