Following in the footsteps of his father and twin brother, Josh Atkinson, George Atkinson III was highly regarded for his talent and athleticism. In 2010, he joined the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he played football for four seasons. As a member of the Fighting Irish, Atkinson made a name for himself as an explosive and versatile running back. He accumulated an impressive 943 rushing yards and scored 11 touchdowns during his college career. After his time in college, George Atkinson III pursued his dreams of playing in the NFL.
