Wanna be a star

An english poem I created a long time ago. Don't worry not my own experience. The ending came to me as I was watching the series YOU. A short story with a twist at the ending you could also say😁 I wanna be a star and make the dark sky bright. Then I'll be above you and light up your way. Showing you where to go and also where to stay. Telling you right from wrong, always by your side, knowing what's going on and I don't need to hide. I wanna be a star and make the dark sky bright. Seeing you getting hurt makes me wanna cry, you seem lonely all by yourself at day, without me, and I'm beginning to hate those just passing by, You think nobody notices and can't see. You won't even look my way and I understand I don't need to stay. Who would look up with a lighthead mood, while the worries lie down there in cahoot. I wanna be a star and make the dark sky bright. Seeing someone else really nearby to you, I can't do anything but to stay silent. Even tough looking isn't the only thing I wanna do, I need to stay back, just wishing us to a deserted island. The other one is gone again and you ask why? I don't know the answer but it's okay, I twinkle for you, shine bright and hope you see me up so high See me telling you: by your side I'll always stay. I wanna be a star and make the dark sky bright. I try to show you that life is not a race, so take a deep breath and feel the breeze. you don't have to haste, go at your own pace, that's your only chance to find inner peace. Now it's night and you look in the sky, do you see me twinkle and hear my calling? I can see you smile if it's not my eyes that lie. but as soon as you turn away I see myself falling. I wanna be a star and make the dark sky bright I can't lie to myself any longer, I ain't a star more of a goner Stalker you could also say, but whatever the call I'll always love you and gonna see you, be it night or day. © Rici
