How

How is it that every time you reach to me, my mind keeps on imagining moments in which we're enjoying life together? How hard must it be to find someone willing to look at all the pieces of my broken self and give me a heartfelt hug after that? How much suffering must one endure, so that the pain can become joy? How many days must pass before I stop loving you and longing for your touch? How many months before you become just a happy memory? How many years before your warmth fades from my shoulder? How much time must pass before my mind forgets you and your face stops showing in my dreams?
