George P. Wilbur is an American actor and stunt performer who has been a part of the entertainment industry for over four decades. He is best known for his work in horror films, particularly for his role as Michael Myers in two of the "Halloween" franchise movies. Born on March 14, 1949, in Louisiana, Wilbur began his acting career in the late 1970s, working on TV shows such as "CHiPs" and "The Dukes of Hazzard." In 1981, Wilbur landed his first major film role as a stuntman in the sci-fi classic "Escape from New York," directed by John Carpenter. He went on to work on several other Carpenter films, including "The Thing," "Halloween II," and "Body Bags." However, it was his portrayal of Michael Myers in the 1988 film "Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers" that solidified his place in the horror genre. Wilbur played the iconic masked killer once again in the 1995 film "Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers," which was his last major acting role.
