Rate the Film: 1951’s The Day the Earth Stood Still

Where would you rate The Day the Earth Stood Still? Feel free to express your thoughts and opinions about the film in the comments: For me: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Saw it in high school film class.It was relevant then and in a way relevant today regarding violence and aggression. The effects definitely dated are impressive though and the acting is great especially from Michael Rennie as Klaatu. I also like seeing how us humans react differently when a alien lands on Earth. Almost all are fearful, but some do try listen whereas others want to be famous by turning in or killing Klaatu to protect everyone. If you haven’t seen it I recommend seeing it at least once. If regarding the 2008 version with Keanu Reeves 1. Haven’t seen it but will soon 2. I heard it’s really bad like 28% bad on RT.
