Hi! I’m finding a good romcom to watch. Finding movies I haven’t watched yet. I don’t really have any favorites but When Harry Met Sally is a classic. I love Jane Austen adaptations too! Willing to watch other non-English or non-Filipino romcoms too!

Ciao! Sto cercando una buona commedia romantica da guardare. Sto cercando film che non ho ancora visto. Non ho davvero dei preferiti, ma Harry ti presento Sally è un classico. Adoro anche le adattamenti di Jane Austen! Sono disposto a guardare anche altre commedie romantiche non inglesi o non filippine!

Not bad, 

But something on my mind is I can't help but think that while the scenes are 'romantic' and I like seeing emotional connections develop they also feel immoral to me, because these people's feelings are developing due to their desire and openness to non platonic relationships even though they've already got something going with someone else. 

In a way all the dramas and love triangles seem self caused and completely avoidable. lack of principles and loyalty by continuing the search and allowing for the possibilities of things they know they shouldn't, and then they explain it away by saying it just happened or they just fell for someone and didn't plan on it, but in reality they are fully accountable for the inner intentions that not only allow it to happen but promote it. In other words they're playing with temptation and expecting not to get bit or deal with the consequences of losing to something that can never be truly won against (because in playing with temptation you've already lost since the desire has gotten inside despite if you act on it in the end) 

Romcoms are shows for entertainment but I think some people or more so society could normalise the behaviour of never fully committing to a monogamous relationship even if they tell the love interest that they are. It seems all to common that people pretend that there's nothing that can be done about feelings developing for others and that it's not simply because we are not taking responsibility for our inner life

Maybe it's just me, what do you all think of my perspective on this?

Ma qualcosa che mi frulla in testa è che non posso fare a meno di pensare che mentre le scene sono 'romantiche' e mi piace vedere sviluppare connessioni emotive, mi sembrano anche immorali, perché i sentimenti di queste persone si sviluppano a causa del loro desiderio e apertura a relazioni non platoniche anche se hanno già qualcosa in corso con qualcun altro. 

In un certo senso, tutti i drammi e i triangoli amorosi sembrano auto-causati e completamente evitabili. Mancanza di principi e lealtà continuando la ricerca e permettendo le possibilità di cose che sanno di non dover fare, e poi lo giustificano dicendo che è successo e che si sono semplicemente innamorati di qualcuno senza pianificarlo, ma in realtà sono pienamente responsabili delle intenzioni interiori che non solo permettono che accada, ma lo promuovono. In altre parole, stanno giocando con la tentazione e si aspettano di non essere morsi o di affrontare le conseguenze di perdere contro qualcosa che non può mai essere veramente vinto (perché giocando con la tentazione hai già perso, dato che il desiderio è entrato dentro nonostante tu agisca su di esso alla fine) 

Le commedie romantiche sono spettacoli per intrattenimento, ma penso che alcune persone o più in generale la società potrebbero normalizzare il comportamento di non impegnarsi mai completamente in una relazione monogama anche se dicono all'interesse amoroso che lo stanno facendo. Sembra fin troppo comune che le persone fingano che non ci sia nulla da fare riguardo ai sentimenti che si sviluppano per altri e che non sia semplicemente perché non stiamo assumendoci la responsabilità della nostra vita interiore.

Forse sono solo io, cosa ne pensate tutti della mia prospettiva su questo?

I usually binge completed comics, but every so often I find myself reading along. This one has finally come to and end (English translation/main story?) and it's so damn bittersweet. Romantic comedy with a huge emphasis on the comedy. 

I'm so glad I didn't give up during the enormous amount of cringe in the first few episodes. #webcomics #manhwas #romcom

Di solito leggo fumetti completati in un colpo solo, ma di tanto in tanto mi ritrovo a leggere a rilento. Questo è finalmente giunto alla fine (traduzione in inglese/storia principale?) ed è così dannatamente agrodolce. Commedia romantica con un'enorme enfasi sulla commedia.

Sono così felice di non aver mollato durante l'enorme quantità di imbarazzo nei primi episodi. #webcomics #manhwas #romcom
