Memory: Fade (Salamander Cellphone Novel)

Chapter 8   I try to look at my father but its no good. I keep seeing bursts of red, blue, orange and every other damn color of the rainbow. And a face, sun kissed, blonde short hair, diamond white irises and...a knife. A knife raised above my father's head thrusting down and then darkness. Pure pitch black as I lose my grip on my consciousness. I retreat deep within myself, to escape the pain of reality. "With your death...Nidhogg....freed." That voice piercing the abyss of my subconscious. A voice that forever stains my heart and psyche. The memory fades and my mind comes back to the present. I am still in the golden circular chamber, in the presence of the Dragon Council.
