I think, not entirely sure, that this is the caterpillar for a Salt Marsh Moth. Fast and fuzzy little guy just was just zooming around the park.

I bought this "bug" fossil at a rock show this weekend! I can't really tell what kind of insect it is (a beetle? a fly?) but I'm going to display it proudly :D

Just got a fossil insect!

I just wanted to share this cool moment. I'm not entirely sure how or why it happened, but it just did. I happen to be walking along a side walk, then something hit my left hand. For some reason this little guy hung out with me for a solid hour. 😃

When walking on the last day of my vacation, I saw an abandoned wasp nest inside a cone on the street. Fascinated as I am by nature, I took a closer look and when I did, I came eye to eye whit this creature!

I have a water bottle I keep at work. It is the kind with a straw. I left the straw up last night. Took a sip this morning and there was something solid. Immediately spit it out...
It was an earwig!

I like bugs...
But earwig are a no-no...

I am so grossed out.
