For me: ⭐️⭐️⭐️. This is a frustrating film because, on the one hand, it’s humor has some moments, but it mostly falls flat feeling like a bad Adam Sandler/Happy Madison film including the one running joke of a dog humping a stuff duck that, to me, wasn’t funny the first time and got me angry for the number of times it kept repeating the same bit. On the other hand it does have some memorable characters like Christopher Walken and David Hasslehoff and the last 3rd of the film almost becomes completely different showing Adam Sandler can act in dramatic roles and give scenes that are gut wrenching.

It’s one I recommend to experience the last 3rd but say that if you can’t get into the Happy Madison Adam Sandler humor, then you might have a tough time getting through this film. If you like that kind of humor than you’ll likely enjoy this film more than me.

I remember liking the general idea of the film and the plot advances are interesting for a comedy type thing. Adam Sandler has gone on to some decent dramas like Uncut gems. Also I remember 50 first dates was quite good too.
