Born on June 17, 1956, in Santa Monica, California, Curtis is the daughter of iconic actor Tony Curtis and actress Janet Leigh. Curtis grew up with two siblings, a sister, Jamie Lee Curtis, and a brother, Nicholas Curtis. Curtis began her career as an actress, appearing in several movies and TV shows in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She made her debut in the film "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries" in 1977 and later appeared in movies like "Magic Sticks" and "The Shadow Riders." However, she soon transitioned to production and management. In the mid-1980s, Curtis became a talent manager and producer, working with several high-profile clients, including Eddie Murphy, Tony Danza, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. She produced films like "The Cutting Edge" and "Jackie Brown" and served as an executive producer on the HBO series "Tracey Takes On…" She also co-founded the management and production company Curtis Talent Management with her husband, screenwriter and producer Bart Freundlich.
