Yvonne Ducksworth is a notable cultural worker and scholar from Canada. With a career spanning more than two decades, she has dedicated her work to understanding, documenting and advocating for the experiences of marginalized communities, particularly those of Black people and other people of color. She is recognized for her contributions to the fields of cultural studies, sociology, and education, and is a respected voice in the Canadian academic and cultural landscape. Born and raised in Canada, Yvonne Ducksworth completed her education at the University of Toronto, where she earned a Ph.D. in Sociology.
