Shawn Long is an American professional basketball player who has gained recognition for his skills and versatility on the court. Born on January 29, 1993, in Morgan City, Louisiana, Long quickly made a name for himself in the world of basketball. Standing at an impressive height of 6 feet 9 inches, or 2.06 meters, Long's height and athleticism have played a crucial role in his successful career. Long's basketball journey began in high school, where he played for Morgan City High School. His exceptional performance caught the attention of college scouts, and he was soon offered a scholarship to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During his time with the Ragin' Cajuns, Long became one of the top players in the Sun Belt Conference. He signed a 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in March 2017, making his NBA debut.
