Taue is best known for his tenure with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), where he played a crucial role in the promotion's success throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Taue began his wrestling journey in 1985, joining AJPW as a trainee. Under the guidance of legendary wrestler Giant Baba, he quickly showed promising skills and determination, earning a permanent spot in the roster. Taue's early years were marked by his development as a tag team wrestler, forming memorable partnerships with the likes of Jumbo Tsuruta and Toshiaki Kawada.
