Giselle Toengi, popularly known as G. Toengi, is an American-Filipino actress, TV host, and singer. She was born on October 4, 1978, in California, USA. She grew up in the United States but moved to the Philippines when she was 12 years old. Upon relocating, G. Toengi immersed herself in the Filipino culture and language. G. Toengi started her showbiz career in the Philippines at the age of 14, as a member of That's Entertainment, a Filipino variety show. She then starred in various television dramas and movies such as Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit, Magic Temple, and Di Ba't Ikaw. She also hosted several TV shows including CNN Philippines' Real Talk, and ABS-CBN's Showbiz Inside Report. Aside from acting and hosting, G. Toengi is also a talented singer. She released her debut album "Mahal Kita" under Viva Records in 1994. The album became a hit and earned her the title "Pop Princess." She then released several follow-up albums such as "Give Me One More Chance" and "Bongga Ka Day." G. Toengi is an accomplished individual who has shown excellence in different fields. She is not only a talented actress and host but also a gifted singer. Her contribution to the Filipino entertainment industry has been recognized with various awards and nominations over the years.
