In my 30’s, I have learned to say “yeah it’s rough, but it’s not the end of the world.” And honestly, that has been so liberating. Hope this helps anyone going through a rough time.

Yea repression through invalidating urself will make it seem easy at first. Its self betrayal though. Long term youre gunna make a mess not adressing things though. Grew up like that. Taken ages to convert and i still havent reversed the damage it did to my health.

Not everything deserves your time or to be dwelled upon to the point you can't let it go, "it is what it is" learn what you needed and move on with your life.

My voice instructor back in the day used to always say, "They can't take away your birthday." Understanding that in the grand scheme of things this bad moment won't damage my life permanently is a powerful tool to calm down for sure.

Humans are like farts in a storm...our time here is a blink of the eye. So I like to think oh well ill be dead soon who cares lol. Remember you can't truly appreciate the good times without going through the bad too
